Public Climate School 2021
roots of eco-feminism
Published:
In the seminar "Gender & Science" we deal with the interaction of science and gender. During the Public Climate School week we deal with the blueprint for an eco-feminist society of a pioneer of eco-feminism, Maria Mies. The theoretical term "ecofeminism" has its roots in various social movements - the women's movement, the peace movement, and the environmental movement - in the late 70s and early 80s. We focus on the connection between critique of science and critique of society.
