In her latest publication, Julia Gruevska analyzes the question of the relevance of philosophical and epistemological reflections in the methods of neurophysiology on the basis of the dispute between K. S. Lashley and F. J. J. Buytendijk. The article appeared in English in the Journal of the History of Biology and is part of a Special Issue on Biology in the Interwar Period (eds. Jan Baedke & Christina Brandt).
